Each of its pages is full of wisdom and is capable of enlightening hearts and awakening good feelings. Therefore, in recent years, a number of decisions and decrees have been passed in our country on the promotion of reading and promotion of books, and the promotion of reading among the population in all regions of the country, and the main focus is on increasing the number of readers, not the number of books. being directed.

         To increase the role and importance of the book in the spiritual and educational life of the society, to educate the young generation in the spirit of patriotism, to raise the culture of reading and book reading, to make the young people intellectually developed and mature, and to expand the role and importance of the book. In order to promote, within the framework of the program, under the slogan "a book is my best friend", an information-resource center and young people of the Tashkent State Dental Institute on the topic "a book is alive with a book - a person lives with a book" on November 4 of this year a round discussion was held by the centers of work, spirituality and enlightenment. Students who demonstrated their knowledge of reading at a high level by showing activity during the round interview were awarded with books by the Information Resource Center.
